It’s no wonder there aren’t more crashes with the way people are driving theses days. They run crimson lights just to save a minutes or so at the risk of killing someone.
It’s funny, but, have you ever sped and timed the excursion you’re taking to see how much time you actually save? It’s minuscule compared to the danger you put yourself and others in. I can’t count how many people I see these days running crimson lights blatantly. We need to make those fines at least on par with littering, or even higher, say $2500.00 for the very first offense.
That merge as you come in Hiway four from Hillcrest West is horrifying. I don’t care if you are on the onramp or already on Hiway four you see your life going before your eyes. We are going to see deaths there before it is finished. I would much rather attempt driving city streets all the way across town.
I wish we had more police to enforce traffic laws. Maybe we should gather votes to get more funds to hire more police because our lives are at stake…
…wait min that sounds too familiar. Foolish me, I left behind that’s what Measure C was supposed to do!!
I feel safer already.
Now where are those officers?… Hmmm
We hired the officers but an equal number retired. Net build up so far is only one or Two.
Yep, It is so funny when dumb drivers pass you up in such a hurry. Then when you see them next to you at the next light you laugh inwards at just how stupid they are.
Now only if they can keep them. APD is a turnsyle when it comes to police. Why would they stay and work that hard when they can go elsewhere and work less and make as much if not more. I feel so sorry for those guys. It is excellent up in these hills. Miss you guys. Hope admin is not kicking your bootie.
Umm highway four is all jacked up. They need to hurry up n fix the darn thing already.
I moved to east county in 1995. Highway four has been in a constant state of destruction/ construction since then. Do you think it will ever end?
