JACKSON, Ms. (WJTV) – UPDATE (Five/22/17 Trio:22 P.M.) A judge has denied bail to three Mississippi people accused of killing a 6-year-old boy.

Madison County Justice Court Judge Bruce McKinley sent co-defendants Byron McBride Jr., Dwan Wakefield Jr. and D`Allen Washington back to jail until at least a late June hearing.

District Attorney Michael Guest told reporters after the hearing that prosecutors haven`t determined yet whether they will seek the death penalty against McBride.

The other two are ineligible for the death penalty because they were junior than eighteen when the crime was committed.

The three guys are accused in the Thursday shooting death of Kingston Frazier. Frazier was asleep in the back of his mother`s car when it was stolen.

Court papers demonstrate Wakefield told investigators McBride stole the car and shot Frazier.

UPDATE (Five/22/17 Ten:20 A.M.) Three Mississippi teenagers charged with capital murder in the shooting death of a 6-year-old boy are expected to make initial court appearances.

Nineteen-year-old Byron McBride and 17-year-olds Dwan Wakefield and D`Allen Washington were arrested in the shooting death of Kingston Frazier. Authorities say Frazier was found dead in his mother`s car Thursday, hours after the vehicle was stolen from outside a Jackson supermarket with the child inwards.

A judge is expected to determine Monday whether to set bail and also will appoint lawyers to any of the three who lack one.

A special investigator`s sworn statement obtained by The Associated Press says Wakefield told police that McBride stole the car and killed Frazier. Tho’ all three are charged with capital murder, authorities say only McBride could face the death penalty.

UPDATE (Five/Nineteen/17 9:30 A.M.) A kidnapping investigation ended Thursday morning tragically.

Authorities said 6-year-old Kingston Frazier was in the backseat of his mom`s car when the car was stolen.

An Amber Alert was issued for the missing boy and was canceled several hours later after police had said he was found dead in Madison County.

Law enforcement officers named two persons of interest in this case, 18-year-olds DeAllen Washington and Dwan Wakefield.

The Madison County Superintendent Dr. Ronnie McGehee said Wakefield is an 11th grader at Ridgeland High. He also said he is a former member of the football team.

A little after four p.m., WJTV twelve learned that a 3rd person of interest, Byron McBride, had been picked up for questioning in Madison County by U.S. Marshals.

The three are facing capital murder charges.

According to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, this all embarked around one a.m. Authorities say Kingston was sitting in a silver two thousand Toyota Camry at the Kroger on I-55 in Jackson when someone stole it.

Hinds County investigators said Kingston`s mom reportedly left the Toyota running with him inwards when she ran into the store.

We`re told two studs in a 2-door Honda pulled up to the silver Toyota Camry. One of the boys got out of the 2-door and got into the Camry and took off.

Authorities found the stolen Toyota on Gluckstadt Road Thursday morning. Authorities said a deceased child was found in the back seat with a gunshot wound.

Family members said Kingston was looking forward to this day. Today was the day of his promotion ceremony at North Jackson Elementary.

Law enforcement officers said this is an on-going multijurisdictional investigation.

Jackson Mayor Tony Yarber issued a statement:

«At this time, we all share the sentiment of a violated heart for Kingston and his family. It is significant that we express and assure, that as a City, there is no tolerance on any level for acts of violence against children. Now is the time for Jacksonians to unite under the banner of love and restoration. The bereaved family is in our prayers as we proceed to seek justice for Kingston.»

Luke said 18-year-old Dwan Wakefield was taken into custody before eleven a.m. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Washington is asked to contact the Hinds County Sheriff`s Office.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBN) has issued an Amber Alert for 6-year-old Kingston Frazier.

Authorities say Kingston Frazier was sitting in a silver two thousand Toyota Camry with the Mississippi license plate HYX seven hundred eighty three at the Kroger on I-55 in Jackson when someone stole it. The car was stolen around one a.m., according to MBN.

Frazier was last seen wearing a white tank top, khaki cut-offs and gold Jordan tennis footwear. We`re told he is Trio′ 9″ tall, and he weighs about forty pounds. He has black, curly hair and brown eyes.

That Toyota Camry was last seen traveling south on I-55 toward Northside Drive.

The suspects in this case are two black studs.

Authorities need your help locating Kingston Frazier. If you`ve seen him or the silver Toyota Camry, call police instantaneously. You can also call the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation at 855-642-5378.

We`re told that the Hinds County Sheriff`s Department is leading the search for Frazier. Jackson Police say they are assisting.
